Dreams they say come through when you work hard. Another equally good one is “keep doing what you are doing cos you never know who’s watching”. This maybe the case of Mr. Bash, a very hard-working upcoming Abuja rapper. Mr Bash recently sent out a couple of his works to the Nigerian-American singer Rotimi via Instagram DM to listen to and he got a very shocking response.
In case you don’t know, Rotimi is an American singer and actor of Nigerian decent. Born in the U.S to Nigerian parents, contemporary RnB singer Rotimi started his music career back in 2011 when he dropped a couple of mixtapes and also opened for A-list acts like Jennifer Hudson, T.I and Estelle. Rotimi went on to perform at BET show 106 & Park and appeared in Kesha Cole’s music video. In 2015 American rapper and Executive producer of Power 50 Cent signed Rotimi to his label G-Unit Records. Since then Rotimi has gone on to release other projects with his latest being “Love Riddim”. Rotimi as an actor has featured in Hollywood movies like Black Nativity. His Highest grossing movie to date is Divergent but popularly known for his role in the hit TV series “Power”.
Mr Bash started his career professionally in 2018 and has released a couple of projects this year. His latest project is a 3 tracks EP titled “when I die”. The EP was dropped on his birthday as a gift to his fans with “I dint miss you” gaining major streams.
