Meghan Markle’s father Thomas Markle has reacted to the explosive interview his daughter and son-in-law Prince Harry had with media mogul Oprah Winfrey on Sunday night. The father of the duchess of Sussex told ITV the couple’s two-hour chat with Winfrey was way over the top.
“They (Harry and Meghan) went way over the top with these stories with Oprah and should have waited, considering the Queen’s age and Philip’s age. “This whole thing about color and how dark the baby is bullshit,”. I’m guessing and hoping that it’s just a dumb question from somebody. I don’t think the British royal family is racist.”
The explosive interview from Meghan and Prince Harry had shut down the internet over the weekend with mixed reactions trailing the different revelations from the couple about the activities of the royal household. Meghan had revealed that she became suicidal from the pressure she experienced in the white house. She also alleged that the royal household was racist mentioning that they were concern about her son’s skin color.
The royal family has released a statement saying that the race allegations by Meghan and Prince Harry in the interview will be addressed.
