Netflix has given lovers a reason to look forward to Valentine’s day, February 14th, 2021 with its latest original romantic film “Namaste Wahala” which tackles the issue of ethnic stereotypes in marriage.
The streaming service recently dropped the trailer for the movie, and from the reactions, this Nollywood-Bollywood collaboration is going to cause quite a stir as movie lovers cannot wait to see how an Indian Nigerian wedding happened.
The name of the movie is Namaste Wahala (which means ‘Hello Trouble’), and it revolves around the fun and the challenges of two very different cultures coming together.
Premiering on February 14, Valentine’s Day, the movie is a story of romance, laughter, tears, and family set over two diverse and rich cultures.
It stars leading actress Ini Dima-Okojie, Mofe Damijo, Ajoke Silva, Osas Ighodaro, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Segal Sujata, Adaora Lumina, Ibrahim Suleiman, Frodd, Imoh Eboh, Osas, Eneeicha, K10, Mexemania and Pay ’Tience among others.
