A Young Nigerian lady named Ogechi Eke was left astounded earlier today, after she was given a shocking wedding gift by her husband to a thrilling live performance by the king of Afroblues Timi Dakolo in her home in Abuja.
Timi Dakolo who shared the sweet heartwarming video of himself singing to Ogechi, as he a recompensation for not being able to attend and perform at her wedding. Timi Dakolo explained that the husband of Mr Eke had insisted all through to get Timi to perform at their wedding, as a wedding gift for his beautiful new wife because she had said that’s all she wanted for her wedding gift.
However, Timi Dakolo couldn’t make on the day of the wedding as he already had other engagements he had signed up for which he couldn’t shelve.
To make it up to her, he stormed their home and finally gave her the performance she longed for.
”So I got a call for a wedding in Abuja for a lady that just wanted me as her only wedding gift. Unfortunately I had committed to some other gig and the husband and other people kept calling . At some point, we had to come to an agreement, because they refuse to give up. I mean the calls kept coming with the line have you changed your mind ?. So we had to come up with a plan. Let’s wake her up and make her wish come true.Thanks to her colleagues (Planning committee ). Happy married life to OGECHI AND NWACHUKWU EKE.” Timi wrote
